Accommodation

There are many hotels in and around Sendai Station, with a wide range of prices and room types. Since publicly available individual rates are generally more competitive than the group rates available to us, ARWA 2027 will not arrange a conference hotel or a group booking. Participants are encouraged to book accommodation individually.

The hotels below are provided as examples. Room rates vary considerably depending on the date, room type, number of guests, and booking conditions, so please check the hotel website for the current rate when making your reservation.

Important note on hotel rates in Japan: Many Japanese hotel booking websites display rates per person rather than per room, and the price may change depending on the number of people occupying the room. Please check carefully whether the rate shown is per person or per room before booking.

A higher-end hotel located approximately a 10-minute walk from Sendai Station. The hotel occupies the upper floors of the Sendai Trust Tower and offers spacious rooms and panoramic views of the city.

Hotel Metropolitan Sendai

Located immediately next to Sendai Station, this is one of the most convenient options for conference participants. The hotel offers a range of room types and is directly connected to the station.

Dormy Inn Sendai Ekimae

A popular mid-range business hotel within walking distance of Sendai Station. Dormy Inn is known for its Japanese-style public bath and complimentary late-night noodles.

Smile Hotel Sendai Kokubuncho

A reasonably priced hotel located in the lively Ichibancho/Kokubuncho area, with many restaurants and shops nearby. It is approximately a 15-minute walk from Sendai Station and about a 3-minute walk from Hirose-dori Subway Station.

Visa Information

Participants are responsible for confirming whether they require a visa to enter Japan and for completing all necessary visa application procedures. Presenters who require a visa to enter Japan are strongly encouraged to check the relevant visa requirements and begin the application process as early as possible. Please note that conference registration fees will not be refunded if a participant is unable to attend due to delays in visa processing or the denial of a visa application.
