The 9th Annual Conference for the Association for Reading and Writing in Asia (ARWA 2025)

The Association for Reading and Writing in Asia (ARWA) 9th Annual Conference will take place on February 27 to 28, 2025 at Bai Hotel in the exquisite tropical island of Cebu in the heart of the Philippines. The Conference will provide an interactive platform for academics, researchers, and students to share their insights and experience on research related to reading and writing. Researchers will deliver presentations across the spectrum of literacy development, literacy impairment, and expert linguistic processing in Asia from related fields such as psychology, education, linguistics and neuroscience.

Regular Membership: USD 100

Student Membership: USD 50

Membership fees are not refundable once paid.

For registration fees:

• On or before 28 January 2025, a full amount of the registration fee can be refunded, minus a 10% administration fee.

• From 29 January 2025 to 26 February 2025 (a day before conference starts), a 50% refund of the registration fee can be refunded (no administration fee is levied)

• From 27 February 2025 on, no refunds of registration fees are possible.

• Since you are responsible for making your own travel arrangements, ARWA is not responsible for non-transferable, non-refundable accommodation or airline tickets purchased in connection with attendance at this conference.​
